Dana Lynne Garton, age 55, of Springfield, MO, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 in her home. She was born July 11, 1959, in Springfield, MO, to Tony and Kathy (Cox) Schahuber. She was a graduate of Glendale High School. Dana owned and operated her own interior design company for many years. She was very artistic, and loved to create beautiful gifts for her family and friends. She shared her gifts by teaching others to sew, knit, draw, and paint.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Anthony “Tony” Schahuber. She is survived by her mother, Katherine “Kathy” Sue Nelson and husband David, of Springfield ; one sister, Lori Ward and husband Bobby, Springfield; one brother, Bill Schahuber, Springfield, ; two daughters, Leslie Lindsay and Loren Stacye; two granddaughters, Kate and Kelly; and a host of family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2015 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 25, 2015 in Brookline Cemetery, Brookline, Missouri. Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
