Darlene Geren, 78, a longtime resident of Springfield, MO passed away Monday, April 13, 2015 at Springfield Rehabilitation and Health Care. She was born December 7, 1937 in Stone County, Missouri. Darlene worked many many years at Lily Tulip and retired from there. She was a member of Boulevard Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri; Darlene was also a member of the Triple L club at church. She loved to sew, quilt, and crochet.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, and a nephew.
She is survived by her sister, Betty Lou Geren of California; two nieces, Tammy Goddard and Jennifer Lowery; and two nephews, Jon and Jim Gray.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Burial will directly follow the service at Smart Cemetery in Clever, Missouri.
