DAVID H. KERSHAW Now Young Again!     I was born 8-16-37 in Chicago, IL to parents, Forrest and Marie Kershaw who are now with the Lord.  My brother John F. Kershaw also left this life on August 21, 2019.  My childhood innocence gradually turned to teenage rebellion against my parents and against God.  However, at the age of 22 years

David was a strong man of God. We were blessed by his life and ministry, for which we are very grateful. We were privileged to hear him teach Sunday school and were the recipients of his love and kindness when our step-father passed away. We can take comfort and joy in knowing that they are together, among those who have that wonderful, eternal loving relationship with Christ. It is our prayer, and I know David's as well, that all come into that same awesome, everlasting, redeeming relationship with Jesus Christ. May all who knew David find that precious gift of eternal life to the fullest, in Christ, where we can all be together again one day.

We met David in a Sunday School Class at Schweitzer UMC. David was one of the best Sunday School teachers I have encountered. He shared his wealth of knowledge in the Bible and had a big thriving class. Praise God that he shared his faith with many to make a difference in God's Kingdom. Dee & Bill Houser

David was always ready to share the Faith, whether you thought you needed it or not. He was a great friend and will be missed (David) I believe the Christian faith basics are: 1. Jesus died and rose again so our sins can be forgiven. John 1 2. Jesus, God's Son is also God. John 3:16 3. The Bible is God's truth for us. II Tim. 3:15-17 4. Our God is God, and the only God to be worshiped. The gods of all the other world religions are only idols. Psalm 96:4-5
