David R. Bybee, age 72, of Rogersville, passed away Thursday, July 11th, 2019 at Cox Hospital South .
David was born in Kansas City Missouri on October 30, 1946 to Joe and Imogene Bybee. David graduated from Wheatland High School. He was united in marriage to Debbie Turner on November 19, 1981 in Springfield, MO. David retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation as an accident investigator. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, target shooting, and traveling. He loved going to the beach and the desert.
Survivors include his loving wife, Debbie Bybee of the home; son, Chris Bybee of Ozark, MO, two daughters, Yvonne Moreno, Springfield and Yvette Ivie, Springfield; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dane Bybee and wife Christine, Marble Falls, TX and Rob Bybee, Springfield; one sister, Melody Hargiss, Springfield; and a host of family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, Monday, July 15, 2019 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. A celebration of David's life will be held Monday, July 15th, 2019 at 11:00 am in Greenlawn Funeral Home South 441 West Battlefield Springfield, Missouri, with burial to follow at White Chapel in Springfield, MO .
Memorial donations may be made in David's name to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri or The American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
