Deborah (Debby) Ann Mason, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, of Elkland, Missouri, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 72 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. She was born on December 29, 1950, in to Tuscon, Arizona to Cecil Stanley Mason and Lea Cote.

Debby was a woman of simple pleasures and dedicated herself to her family and her craft. She possessed a genuine passion for quilting and sewing, spending countless hours creating beautiful works of art. Her skill and creativity were evident in every thread she stitched, leaving a lasting legacy of her talent and love of the craft.

In addition to her artistic pursuits, Debby worked diligently in the manufacturing industry as a Quality Control professional. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to ensuring high standards were admired by her colleagues.

Family meant the world to Debby, and she leaves behind a treasured legacy of love. She is survived by her son, Charles Meeker and his wife, Tina, and daughter, Yvette Shoemaker and husband, Gary, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. Deborah’s passing also leaves a deep void in the lives of her grandchildren: Christen Tracy and partner, Jamie Jacobs, Thomas Meeker, Tucker Meeker, and Taylor Flanagin and husband, Jacob. Her great-grandchildren, Avery Tracy, Oliver Tracy, and Remington Flanagin brought immense joy into her life and will miss her too.

Debby’s wishes were to be cremated with a celebration of her life at a later date.
