Deborah Brizendine, 67, passed away April 12, 2019 at her home in Springfield, Missouri, after a battle with Pancreatic cancer. She was born Deborah Marie Taylor on March 22, 1952 to Delah and Glen Taylor. She grew up in Willard, Missouri, and spent her childhood very active in Homeland Baptist Church. As a young woman, she worked at St. John’s Hospital as a Nurse’s Aide. On July 4, 1967 she married John Brizendine of Springfield, Missouri after living in Oregon for a period of time they returned to Springfield to buy a home and raise three children. Deborah stayed at home, where her greatest joy, was being a wife and mother. After her children were grown, she went to work at McDonalds. She loved her job and her customers, staying there until she retired in 2013. Deborah is survived by her husband of 52 years, John Brizendine, her three children, Michelle Burnham and husband Joe, Suzzanne Jackson and husband David, Lane Brizendine and wife Jen. Her 12 grandchildren: Deborah Reedy, Kelsey Lee Webb, Kendra Heumader and husband Dustin, Daniel Burnham, Cheyenne Brizendine, Brianne Gray and husband Aaron, Jarrett White, Justin Adams, Emily Dore, Ethan Dore, Ember Brizendine, and Carter Brizendine. Great Grandchildren: Eziekiel Kelly, Kaylee Burnham, Dakota Heumader, Sophia Heumader, Eric Barahas, Shiloh Gray, and Elizabeth White. Her brothers: Sonny Hopper and wife Sharon, Johnny Taylor and wife Ruthie, Micheal Taylor and wife Louise. Her sister CarlAnn Friend and husband Ronnie. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Delah Hopper and Step-Father George Hopper of Granby, Mo. Her Brothers, Gary Taylor and Danny Parscale, and great grandson William Debiase. Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Pastor Mark Orchard officiating, with interment to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, 6PM – 8 PM at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
