Diana D. Moore, age 63, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2015 in her home. She was born April 13, 1952, in Springfield, MO, to James and Evalena (Vaughn) Moad. She was united in marriage to Charles Moore on August 3, 2006 in Springfield, MO. Diana loved her dog Baby and her cat Kissy Face, she enjoyed playing games on the computer, she will always be remembered for the apple and cherry pies that she baked. The greatest love of her life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Monroe Moad, one brother James Monroe Moad; and a twin sister Donna Jean Moad. She is survived by her husband, Charles Moore, Springfield, MO; three children, Lena Brasuell, Springfield, MO, Florence Carter and husband Tim, Ragland, AL, and Charles Brasuell, Springfield, MO; her mother, Evalena Moad; six grandchildren, Khia Brasuell, Nicole Brasuell, Shelton Carter, Sabrina Carter, Diana Sue Brasuell, and Lana Brasuell; one great-granddaughter, Ashiah Bettendorf; five brothers, Bill Moad, Frank Moad, Rick Moad, Robbie Moad, and Darrell Moad; three sisters, Grace Moad, Kathy Moad, and Brenda Moyer; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm., Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO. Burial will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be held from 1-2 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
