Joan Cisna left a message on March 2, 2016:
I was overcome at visitation. I have never seen so many hundreds of people and so many flowers and remembrances of one passed, all in one place. I visited with school friends of Diane, teachers of her children and many others. It was evident that Diane touched many lives. I regret I was not able to stay to meet the family in person. I admired Diane as a tennis friend at Twin Oaks, and was awed by the strength and resilience she demonstrated. She was always a delight on the courts, no matter what she was dealing with in treatment. I have truly never seen a more profound testimony to life, love and faith. We will miss her terribly. May everyone find peace in our loss, knowing that the Lord has called her home.

Kimberly and I had the utmost regard for Diane. What we were most privileged to witness is what an amazing mother she was. Diane set a beautiful standard in the many events she volunteered for as dedicated Kickapoo mom. She will be missed by many. Phil & Kimberly Melugin
