Dixie was such a joy to be around. Always laughing and being at every special event her children were in. So enjoyed being a school mom and friend to Dixie

We are so sorry to here of Aunt Dixie 's passing. She was a lot of fun and was always laughing and trying to get us girls to kiss and hug Hackie and Bubby to embarrasses them.. Remember when we all lived about a block apart on East Avenue in Springfield; when we all went to the creek for a picnic and went swimming with aunts and uncles and all the cousins.. At Lindenlure, and Hackie stepped on a broken bottle in the water and cut his foot up really good and Haskell and Dixie had to rush him to hospital; and the family reunion we all had at fast-night park and I think we all played ball. The Christmas Parties we would have each year at Grandma and Grandpa Britton. I have a lot of fond memories with Dixie and Haskell and all of you kids. Its a shame that over the years, we all grow up and have families and we don't get together anymore. Such busy lives. May God Bless each and everyone of you. That He holds you all in the palm of his hands during these difficult days ahead.... Love to you all, Rosie Britton, Steve & Rhonda Staiger, Gary & Rochelle Harter, Randy and Roxanne Rapp, Ashley & Cody Dummit, Amber & DeLane Snyder, Andrew & Cassie Staiger, Kit & Valerie Maples, Travis & Lisa Harter, Trevor Harter, and all the grand kids: Logan, Easton, Charlie, Avery, Eli, and Hudson, Clara, Melody, Bode, Paityn, Cannon, Macey.
