Donald John Kraeger, 74, of Springfield, MO passed away on April 4, 2021. Donald was a Vietnam Veteran with the United States Navy and served his country with honor and distinction for 21 years. Don’s devotion to his faith and love for Jesus were known by everyone he met. His message to everybody, and I quote, “I’m just a sinner saved by grace. With the message and music you’ve heard here today, I’m letting you know that, being selfish. I want to see each and every one of you in Heaven someday. If you haven’t already accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior, I beg of you to do so today”.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Rachel Kraeger (Fabricius). He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Kraeger (Kelley) married for 52 years, two sons, Paul and Andrew Kraeger and wife Stefanie, grandchildren, Kristen Kraeger, Kelley Kraeger, Nathan Kraeger and Peyton Wagner, siblings, Gordon Kraeger and his wife, Paula, Sharla Meese and her husband Don.
Visitation will be on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Services will be on Monday, April 19, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Burial will be on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 9:00 am in Missouri Veterans Cemetery with full military honors.
