I can’t claim to have known Don. We were Facebook friends after he’d seen my RAF Lakenheath pictures, simple as that. But every year he wished me happy birthday and he regularly commented on my posts. But most importantly two years ago my dog died, she was a huge part of my life. Don commented on my post and told me how sorry he was for my loss and said that my wife and I were both in his thoughts and prayers. That honestly reduced me to tears. As I sit here now my eyes are full of tears. I remember how much his comments moved me and I realise that now Don too has gone. Through the few online interactions I had with him it was clear that he was a genuine, good guy. I feel privileged to have known him at all. Rest In Peace Sir. I know you’ll be missed, you clearly had a close, loving family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Don's family. I have many memories of Don and "LBJ" with our Lakenheath High School Reunion Group! Our get togethers will never be the same. Janet know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and can't wait to see you again at our gatherings. Hugs.

My condolsences to Janet and the entire McWilliams Family for the loss of Don. What a kind human being and one heck of a guy. My memories of him bring back so many smiles and laughter as a group of us from high school vacationed each year. 15 of us in total and Don was the life of the party! You could hear his great laugh all the time! We shared old memories of days in England and we also made so many more the last 6 years. Rest in Peace Don. You are so loved by so many.
