Doris Darlene Gilbert 91, Fair Grove, MO. passed away December 4, 2019, after a long illness. She was born on August 9, 1928 in Sargent, Nebraska, to: Gilbert J. and Helen G. (Eggers) Wadsworth. She was a longtime area resident. She was a member of the Fair Grove First Baptist Church. Doris was widowed, she had a long career as a cashier and had volunteered many hours in her later years for various causes.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dollie Potter. Doris is survived by Carl Gailey and his wife Sarah, three daughters: Jan Altic and her husband, Terry, Ella Mae Angel, and Janelle Murphy and her husband, Michael, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, with Pastor Brandon Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Comfort cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before services, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Memorial Donations may be made to the Fair Grove First Baptist Church.
