Doris Jeanne Edmisson passed away Oct. 13th, 2019. She was born in Fordland, MO on Jan. 13th, 1939 to Roy Clouse and Martha Doris Brown Clouse, and had a brother Robert, who all preceded her in death.
Doris married James Edmisson on June 12th, 1970 in Springfield, and he also preceded her in death. She had a daughter, Debra Collinge, of Springfield, who preceded her in death, and step children Bryon Edmisson and Marianne Edmisson of Springfield, and Cathy Johnson of Chillicothe, who all survive her.
Doris is also survived by her grandchildren, Lacie Boydston (Kevin), of St. Louis, Makayla Edmisson, of Marshfield, Justin (Lindsey) Hilton, Jeremy (Krista) Hilton, and Ricky (Deborah) Hilton of Springfield, and one great-grandchild, Atlas Boydston. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Wylene Clouse, of Springfield.
She was a homemaker who loved her family and church community very much. Doris enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with her loved ones.
Visitation for Doris will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 17, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with services following at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
