Dorothy June Tennison, 92, of Bolivar, Missouri, passed away August 3, 2020, at her home. She was born, September 12, 1927 in Independence, MO, to Harry and Margaret (Cable) Beamgard.
Dorothy enjoyed playing SkipBo, collecting jewelry and rings, listening to music, going to thrift stores, the casino, and taking Sunday drives.
She is preceded in death by, her husband, Gordon; a daughter Virginia Lee (Peewee); a Grandson, Bradley Joe Tennison and a Great-grandson, Edward Kibby (Baby Byrd).
Dorothy is survived by her children; Mary Ann Smith (Paul); Jim Tennison; Ben Tennison; Bobbie Gott (Jerry); Betty Sue Hernandez; Charles Tennison (Debbie); Linda Barker; 23 Grandchildren; 32 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren., as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services for Dorothy will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2020 at Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM prior to the service. Interment will be in Bolivar City Cemetery Bolivar, MO.
