Carol ,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family. I was just thinking about the day that we went to the pond at Southern Hills and went sledding and Doug crashed into the tree. We had so much fun that day. Doug loved you all so much.
You are in my prayers.

Carol, Chris, and Kelly,
We cannot begin to tell you how saddened we are about the loss of Doug. He was such a friend and person. The memories we have of you two being our CLOSE neighbors and friends cannot be said in just a few words. He was such an inspiration and character too, we'll never forget his chicken dance. God bless you all and know he will always have a close place in our hearts. Love you, Linda and Pat

my deepest condolences to Nunn family.
It always felt extra special when I got to spend time with Carol & Doug.
I always felt so loved. We always went fishing. I always felt safe.
All I can really say, is that I feel lucky to have known him and spent the time with him that I did, and I wish there was always more time.
Both of you have always had a special place in my heart.
Rest in paradise, Doug.
I’d like to imagine he’s already caught the biggest trout up there by now. Love you always AC&UD.

Where to start? First of all to Carol, Chris, Kelli and the extended family your pain is our pain right now. Hopefully we can somehow get through this. Doug and Carol Have graced us with their friendship for at least 50 years. So many good memories. Now to Doug. Dude, you were going to take me to that walleye honey hole you found last spring. No big deal, I still have the memories from our Canada trips and a mountain of other times we spent on the water or in the woods together. just wish you were here to reminisce. Maybe someday, buddy.

Doug has been a best friend and like a brother to me (Mary) for many years.
His love for family, friends and his land & home place was always obvious as he and Carol welcomed reveryone there.
We miss you already Dougie.

One of the most kind, decent human beings ever. A devoted husband and father, and grandfather. He always put his family first and was such an inspiration. Till we meet again, my friend.

Carol, Chris and Kelli, we are so sad for your loss but so grateful that we could call you and Doug our friends and neighbors. May Doug rest well in the peaceful, shady spot you both chose at the Brighton Cemetery. We love all of your family and our hearts are broken for your loss.
