Dovie Marie Feliu, age 94, passed away on March 24, 2016 in her home in Springfield, MO. She was born on May 8, 1921 in Midland, AR to Jesse and Minnie Clem. She married Arthur Feliu on January 17, 1943 in Sebastian County Arkansas. Through the blessings and trials in life her faith in God never wavered. She is gone to be with her heavenly Father and beloved husband. Her family was the most important thing in her life, Sunday’s was always family time spent around the table having Sunday dinner enjoying mom’s cooking. Even though our family got separated by miles, mom always stayed connected with her children, grand-children and extended family.
Dovie was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, brothers, George and Fred Stenhouse, Charlie and Lee Clem. She is survived by her children, David (Paula) Feliu, Lori Feliu and Nancy (David) Grace, her grandchildren, David and Lisa Feliu, Stephanie and Jenna Grace, great-grandchildren, Taylor, Gwenn, Anya, Shaun, Avery, Kason and Kimber, two brothers, Melvin and Glenn Clem.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 3:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial following in Maple Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service beginning at 2:00 pm in the funeral home.
