Edward graduated Central High School where he was involved in music, playing the Clarinet, Oboe and Drums. He also was an actor in school play productions, and independent films.
Edward was preceded in death by his father, Luis Clay, paternal grandmother Ofelia Clay, maternal grandparents, Raymond and Daisy Prater, and step-brother, Timothy Jackson.
Edward is survived by his former wife, Lisa Clay, mother, Brenda Jackson, son, Brandon Clay and daughter Madison (Clay) Patterson and husband Connor, and step-mother Penny Clay. Also surviving are step-sisters, Terri Jackson and Melisa Holland, and step-brother, David Jackson.
Edward had many close friends including Jim Lambeth, Ben Henderson, David Williams, Bob Barker, and Gary Brown.
No services are currently scheduled. Greenlawn South Funeral Home is handling funeral arrangements.
