Elizabeth (Liz)(Pennock) Mehrtens passed from this life on Tuesday August 2, 2022 in Springfield, MO. She was born November 18, 1938 to parents Ambrose and Gertrude (Ross)Pennock.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son David Gregory, second husband Gene Mehrtens and sisters Nita Gunderson, Mary Jane Ball and brothers Kenneth (Joe), Marvin, Bill and great-grandson Alaric Womack.
She is survived by her her first husband Ronald Gregory, sisters Doris Wilson and Clara Range, brother Jewel (Buddy), daughters Rhonda (Mike) Tautphaeus, Teri (Dave) Enslow and son Bruce (Melissa) Gregory). Also survived are 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service for Elizabeth will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East 3540 E. Seminole Springfield, MO. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the service. Private interment will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
