Elizabeth “Betsy” Christeson 94, Nixa, MO passed away on June 2, 2016.
Betsy was born on January 14, 1922 in Wallburg, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Christeson to whom she was married for 59 years and 9 brothers and 4 sisters.
Betsy is survived by her children and their spouses: Debra Tacke and James, Patti Fink and Jeff. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren: Tracy Faerber and Scott, Sasha Lively, Paige Sisa and Greg, Troy Fink, Matt Fink, Bart Tacke, and Sam Tacke and 6 great-grandchildren: Christian, Meyer, Max, Jack, Nate and James. Betsy loved baking and cooking for her friends and family. She also enjoyed games and puzzles and was a lifelong Southern Baptist who deeply loved her family.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 6, 2016 from 1 – 2:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Hazelwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association www.alz.org
