Ella Mae Sobotka 82, Springfield, MO. passed away on April 3, 2021, in her home. She was born in Rifle, Colorado, on February 11, 1939, to Robert and Dollie (Warehime ) Paul. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for Gospel Publishing House. She was a member at Praise Assembly Of God Church, formerly attending Central Assembly Of God Church. While attending Central Assembly, she was known as a coffee server for the Faith Builders Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Evangel University Women’s Auxiliary.
Ella Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Teuber and her second husband, Ruben Villines. She is survived by her husband, Craig Sobotka, three sons: Rodney Teuber (Julie), Randy Teuber (Sharon), and Michael Teuber, one daughter: Joy Goodman (David), three step-sons: Richard Sobotka, Bear Sobotka, and Nicholas Sobotka, two step-daughters: Gaye Schaffitzel (Tony) and Michelle Parker (Wesley), as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be Friday, April 9, 2021. Public visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening, April 8, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. A celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the James P.
