Ella Mae White, 77, of Springfield, Mo., was born on March 16, 1932 in Galloway, Mo. She passed away on December 11, 2009 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield. She graduated from Ozark High School. Ella was united in marriage on December 26, 1950, in Springfield Turners Station. She attended Galloway Methodist Church and was a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and craft shows. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Marguerite Hartley; brother, Harold (Buss) Hartley. She is survived by her son, Jimmy and wife Debbie White, Bill and Freida Mae Hartley, Earl and Eileen Hartley; sister-in-law, Jean Hartley; two granddaughters, Shelley and Jeff Markowski, and Laura White; step-grandchildren, Jessica (Nikki) Carsten and Tyler Carsten; great-grandchild, Sydney Markowski and step-great-granddaughter, Kaylee Carsten; and a host of relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held on December 14, 2009 at 9 a.m. in Missouri Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held December 13, 2009 in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
