He died on June 9, 2020 at his home in Cape Coral, Florida.
Elmer was born on September 25, 1934 in Chadwick, Missouri the son of Amos and Annie Gates Jones. He was a retired brick mason by trade.
Survivors are his wife; Betty Jones of the home in Florida. Six children; Jacqueline Roberts of Branson West, Mo, Cynthia DeLeon of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, Paul Jones of Ava, Missouri, Paula Knight of Cape Coral, Florida, Jeannette Jones of Cape Coral, Florida and Tearesa Jones of Cape Coral, Florida. One Sister, Ruth Hanuer of Washington. 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons; Craig Stephen Jones and David Jones, grandchildren, Denise Walles, Zachery Tokvam, and Bradley Jones. Two brothers; Lloyd Jones and Raymond Jones and sisters, Ida Benton and Marjorie Snyder.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:30 PM Monday at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
