Mr. Floyd Keith, age 73 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2009, in his sleep surrounded by family at home. He was born July 15, 1936, in Charleston, AR, to Boyd and Ollie (Casey) Keith. He was united in marriage to Annie Lee McConnell September 5, 1954, and to this union five children were born. He was a member of the Central Church of Christ where he served as preacher since 1980.
His parents; and an infant great grandson Brady Diehl precede him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Annie Lee of the home; five children: Lloyd Keith and wife Margie Pearl, Mark Keith and wife Debbie, Charles Keith and wife Carla Sue, Cindy (Keith) Talburt, and Daniel Keith and wife Rebecca all of Bolivar, MO; 17 grandchildren: Faithia Gillogly and husband Glen, Hollie Wheatley and husband Adrian, Steven (Tater) Keith, Derick Keith, Joshua Cody Keith, Thomas Keith, Ryan Keith, Jody Warwick and husband Chris, Lori Diehl and husband Thomas, Jason Keith, Lacey Keith, April Schenk and husband Adam, William Talburt, Joshua Allen Keith and wife Lacy, Rachel Barnett and husband Nathan, Virginia Keith, Elizabeth Keith; 11 great grandchildren and three on the way; his sister Gail Ruth Hilton and husband Virgil of Marietta, OK; a sister and brother in-law Louise (McConnell) Condren and husband Theo of Bolivar; brother and sister in-law Billy Gene McConnell and wife Faith of Rio Pico, AZ; as well as nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, November 7, 2009, in Pitts Chapel with his grandson Joshua Allen Keith officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Music will be provided by the family. Pallbearers will be Jason Keith, Steven (Tater) Keith, Joshua Cody Keith, William Talburt, Thomas Keith, Ryan Keith, Chris Warwick, Thomas Diehl, Adam Schenk, Glen Gillogly, Adrian Wheatley, Nathan Barnett, and Tim Rash.
