She attended Willie School as a young child and was in a school program where she recited this poem and recited a few days before her passing.
Jesus shepherd hear me.
Bless thy little lamb tonight.
Through the darkness be thou near to me.
Keep me safe till morning light.
All the day thy hand hath led me.
And I thank thee for thy care.
Thou hast kept me warm and clothed and fed me.
Listen to my evening prayer.
Let my sins be all forgiven.
Bless the friends I love so well.
Take me to haven when I die.
Happy there with thee to dwell.
Amen
She attended Pleasant Hope High School until she married at 17 to Waldron John Sharp on October 6, 1938 at the court house in Springfield, MO. They had a good life farming and raising their family in Fair Grove, MO and then moving to Lamar, MO living 18 years before returning to Fair Grove, MO They were married for 37 years before his passing. Ten years later she and Amos Harralson were married on October 4, 1981 and enjoyed 21 years together. Combining their families that they were both proud of and loving each as if their own.
She was an amazing person and loved people. She always could see the best in everyone and would expect you to do your best in whatever you did. She was happiest when her house was full and she was cooking to feed them. She was one of the best cooks and if you left her house hungry it would have been your fault. Her door was always open and she would welcome you in.
The Family would like to express appreciation to Nurse Nick with Season Hospice and the rest of the staff. Jackie Brenner, Tina Rauch and Sarah Chapman for the great care they gave to our Mom.
