Freda Mae Neal, 94, Springfield, MO. passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, in her home. She was born on March 6, 1926, in Cherryville, Kansas, to Homer and Mamie (Peugh) Fisher. She was a homemaker and a member of the West Atlantic Street Baptist Church, for over 20 years. Freda loved bird watching, sewing and embroidery,and being with her family.
Freda was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Martin J. Neal, and her 14 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Lila Neal, her three sons: Gary Neal and his wife, Susie, Lloyd Neal and his wife, Susan, and Daniel Neal, four grandchildren: Jade, Jeremy, Jared, and Joseph, and four great-grandchildren: Taryn, Elexis, Grayson, and Jayse.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm. Monday, April 26, 2020, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
