Fredia Dorothy (Linderman) Stokes, 86, passed away May 16, 2016 in Ash Grove, Mo, born March 18, 1930 in Montana, Ks to Clarence and Doris (Marshal) Linderman. Fredia was united in marriage May 17, 1947 to Ralph L. Stokes in this marriage three children were born. Richard, Rocky and Doris Reve Stokes.
Fredia is survived by her sons, Richard Stokes and wife Shirley, Rocky Stokes and his wife Shawna. Her sister Shirley Crockett. Grandchildren, Craig Stokes, Kent Stokes, Lindsay Stokes, Lauren Stokes, Dalton Stokes, Brooke Stokes, Brad Daniel, and Brett Daniel. Great-grandchildren MacKenzie Stokes, Amber Stokes, Jesse Stokes, Jordan Hornby, Jacob Hornby, Kelli Conner, Shay Daniel, Caleb, Emyli and Jake Underwood. Great-great-grandchildren Quinton Conner and Kash Conner. As well as several nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph Stokes, Daughter Doris Reve and sister Fledia (Young) Acuff.
Fredia spent most of her working life as a beautician and home maker. She enjoyed going to dances and music shows, and enjoying her many friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-3 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Greenlawn Funeral Home East- 3540 E. Seminole, Springfield, Mo 65809. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm, Thursday, May 19, 2016. Interment will be at Ash Grove Cemetery in Ash Grove, Mo. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
