Garry was born July 16, 1946 in Springfield MO, to Roy and Edna Brown. He was a graduate of Parkview High School. Garry retired as a Fire Marshall for the Springfield Fire Department after over 30 years of service to his community. The greatest passion of his life was spending time with his grandson
Survivors include two sons, Darren Brown, Springfield and Justin Brown, Springfield; one grandson, Gabriel Brown, Springfield; one brother, Dennis Brown, Springfield: and a host of family and friends
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, September 4, 2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. A celebration of Garry’s life will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, with burial to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Garry’s name to Redeemer Lutheran Church. Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
