Gene Fenton Baker, age 54, of Springfield, MO, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Rapid City Regional Hospital in South Dakota while attending the Sturgis Rally. He was born August 1, 1955, in Springfield, Mo, to Willie Fenton and Lenora M. (Deckard) Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Wife Kathy Baker, Daughter Gena Baker , Three brothers Glen Baker , Jimmy Baker, Tom Baker, three sisters Linda Fear, Brenda Stewart, Bobbi Carter, Father Willie Fenton Baker, and Mother Lenora M. Baty all of Springfield and a host of family and friends .
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 14, 2009, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Pastor Joe Teoli officiating. Gene will take “The Last Ride” to White Chapel. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 13, 2009, 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
