Funeral services for Gerald Miles Rantz age 81 of Nixa, Missouri will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Rev. Randy Harwood officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Eisenhour Cemetery near Reeds Spring, Missouri.

He passed away on January 26, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.

Gerald was born on December 11, 1939 in Reeds Spring, Missouri the son of Scelbert and Ellen Jones Rantz. He was the former owner/operator of G & M Statuary in Branson for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was of the protestant faith. He was united in marriage to Mary Thurston on December 28, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri and to this union was born two sons.

Survivors are his wife; Mary Rantz of the home. Two Sons, Ronnie Rantz (Cindy) of Nixa, Missouri and Dennis Rantz (Robyn) of Reeds Spring, Missouri. Two brothers, Larry Rantz of Springfield, Missouri and Ted Rantz of Reeds Spring, Missouri. One sister, Esther Watts of Ozarks, Missouri, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Darrel Rantz and a sister, Cleta Dickens.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
