Gloria Christine Ness, 69, passed away peacefully in her home on July 19th, 2009 with her family at her side after a valiant battle with cancer.
Gloria was born on January 5th, 1940 in Colorado Springs, CO to Leslie and Marjorie Easom; she had four sisters: Selma “Sally” Brack, Myrna Ulibarri, Ila Adams and Sandy Wily. Gloria graduated valedictorian of her class from Yoder/Miami High School in Colorado where she met the love of her life.
On November 16th, 1958 Gloria married her high school sweetheart Charles “Chuck” Ness. During their fifty years of marriage they were blessed with four children: Gina Aberle (Steve), Gala Busking (Mike), Gary Ness (Gina) and Greg Ness (Susan). They were further blessed with fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Her life long journey with Chuck, also included managing several business ventures they started, from ready-mix concrete to selling motorcycles & snowmobiles. During the last 20 years they successfully built Branson Pennzoil and Jacks Car Wash in Branson, MO.
Gloria always had a smile on her face and met challenges head on. She was an avid sports fan and long enjoyed NBA Basketball. NASCAR became her favorite sport and she shared it with her family, often turning a race day into a cherished memory.
Gloria is preceded to her heavenly father by her mother, father and sister Sally. She found a spiritual home at the New Life Temple where her spiritual Brothers and Sisters provided much warmth and comfort in her final days.
