Gloria Maxine Meyers, age 88, of Springfield, Mo., went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 23, 2009, in Christian Health Care East. She was born March 30, 1921, in Springfield, Mo., to Emitt and Mary (Aldridge) Harrell. Her parents, Emitt and Mary Harrell; and her husband, Clarence P. Meyers, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Paul Meyers, Springfield, Mo.; sister, Imogene Rheuark, Overland Park, Kansas; many loving nieces and nephews; and one sister-in-law, Doris Shaw and husband, Russell of Springfield. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009, in Greenlawn Funeral Home North with Chaplain Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 25, 2009, 12 to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
