I was shocked and saddened today to learn of Greg's passing. Our family moved to Marionville in the summer of 1974 and as a star of the Comets, Greg was someone I looked up to. I will always remember his high arcing jump shot and his friendly demeanor. Rest in peace Mr. McCord, you were a true gentleman!

Marlene, I saw someone post about Greg on FB today. I was shocked to hear this. I only had the pleasure to to meet you one time when you were with Greg at a conference. Everyone knew Greg - and everyone enjoyed being around him and he always had the great smile. From visiting with Greg you knew he loved his family (and the Cardinals). He talked about his family a lot. Prayers to you and your family. I wish I would have been able to contact him the last time I was in the area.
