Grover Theodore Langle was born December 29, 1930, the son of Grover D. and Eliza Jane (Mask) Langle at Camp, Arkansas and departed the life January 24, 2015 at the age of 84 years in Springfield, Mo.
He was united in marriage on May 21, 1954 to Jo Rheta (Davis) Langle, who preceded him in death on July 10, 1998.
Grover is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Eddings, and husband Larry of Willard, MO; Sharon Fuller and husband Timothy of Springfield, MO; two grandsons, Richard Eddings of Washington, D. C., Brandon Eddings and wife Mercedes, of Fort Hood, TX; three granddaughters, Elaine Casteel and husband Keith of Willard, MO., Lerin Inmon of Fort Leonard Wood, MO., and Tara Fuller of Springfield, MO.; three great-granddaughters; Emily, Hannah and Kyleigh Casteel of Willard, MO, ;one brother; Cleo Langle and wife Mary Alice of Dallas, TX.; one sister; Aleta Todd of Mammoth Springs, AR; several nieces, nephews, and their families, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Grover D. and Eliza Jane Langle, his wife; Jo Rheta Langle, four brothers; Clarence, Bernie, Fred, and John Langle; three sisters; Nancy May Reagan, Audrey May Birch, and Illa Elizabeth Pingleton.
Grover will be remembered as a generous man who enjoyed yard work, visiting and playing dominos with family and friends, fishing and being outdoors, and will leave behind his ethics of hard work and being a provider for his family.
He will be missed by his family, his friends, and those who knew him at his church, Harvest Ministries in Springfield, Mo.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 12 Noon until the service time at 1:00 pm at Green Lawn Funeral Home North Chapel, with burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
