A Celebration of Life service for Harley Wayne Hamilton age 87 of Forsyth, Missouri will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Jimmy & Melody Issacs residence at 538 Mill Hollow Road, Forsyth, Missouri. Burial with full military honors will be held at a later date at the Barrancas National Cemetery, N.A. S., Pensacola, Florida. Arrangements and cremation were under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson,o.
He died May 24, 2015 at the home of a daughter at Forsyth, Missouri.
He was born on May 22, 1928 in Theodore, Alabama the son of Grady and Ada Mae Creel Hamilton. He was of the protestant faith. He served his country with the U.S. Navy where he retired after 24 years of service.
Survivors are his four children: Melody Isaacs (Jimmy) of Forsyth, Missouri, Kym Hamilton (Maria Stevens) of Jacksonville, Florida, Rodney Hamilton (Stacey) of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Lovely Fish (Brian) of Hollister, Missouri. Five Brothers, Grady Hamilton (Wendy) of Moss Point, MS, Robert Hamilton of Pascagoula, MS, Jack Hamilton (Gloria) and Nelo Hamilton (Donna) both of Moss Point MS and Karl Benner (Carol) of Hollywood, Maryland. Four Sisters, Margaret Southern (Milton) of Moss Point, MS, Joyce Sinquefield (John) of Pascagoula, MS, Lois Rose (Johnny) of Grand Bay, Alabama and Denise Danley (Bruce) of Moss Point, MS, sixteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Hamilton, two brothers and two sisters.
