Jerry Rogers left a message on February 13, 2021:
Lavern was what everyone needs as a friendly and loving cousin who could also be relied on to greet you with a smile and a friendly word. He was a delight to be with and share his company. He will be missed by all who knew him. He will leave a big hole that cannot easily be filled, but we can all be very thankful for knowing such a wonderful person. Lavern, thank you and rest in peace.
