Howard “Howie” Kenyon, Jr. 45 of Springfield, Missouri formerly of Forsyth, Missouri is now walking the streets of Glory. He died, March 30, 2016 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Howie was born on April 25, 1970 in Springfield, Missouri the son of Howard and Charlotte Painter Kenyon. He was a dispatcher for the Forsyth Police Department, Wells Fargo and Proctor & Gamble of Kansas City. He also worked at Wal-Mart in Kansas City and New York. Howard loved to fish and hunt with his dad, hang out with his many friends and family, watch Cardinal Baseball games, read books, craft unique bird houses, but above all he loved to love Jesus and was always ready to hand others that same love that Jesus had for him. Sharing his faith and love brought comfort and smiles to so many people. His family here on Earth can’t wait to meet him in Heaven. He was a member of the Hamlin Baptist Church in Springfield, Missouri.
“Howie” is survived by his parents, Howard and Charlotte Kenyon of Taneyville, Missouri, two sisters and their families, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, his grandparents and many other family members.
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to any Southern Bank in care of Taneyville Union Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 4, 2016 at the White River Youth Camp near Taneyville with Pastor Keith Coons officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Valley Cemetery in Hollister under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Monday at the Youth Camp.
