Inez Gladola Dishman (Sodie) was born Dec. 23, 1915, passed away May 5, 2016, after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Sodie was preceded in death by her parents; Fred and Nora Ringenburg; two brothers; Paul and Clyde Ringenburg, her husband; Waldo Dishman and her son; Gary Dishman.
Sodie was a retired mail carrier, who loved God, loved to fish and take care of her cats, and enjoyed feeding and watching the birds. Sodie is survived by her daughter; Gail Totten, her daughter-in-law: Paulette Dishman, her grandchildren; Amey Dawson (Allen Dawson), Kevin Dishman (Lori Dishman), and Treva Dishman, four great-grandchildren: Tristan Dawson, Danny Watts, Daisy Dishman and Payton Dishman, two great-great-grandchildren: Mason and Wyatt.
Sodie lived an exceptional life, full of family, love and happiness. She will be missed by many. The family wants to say thank you, love and God Bless You to everyone, for the thoughts and prayers and Thank You to Hospice Compassus, for their dedication and caring.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in Dishman cemetery, near Strafford. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
