Iris Mae Bradley, age 93, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away at Cox South Hospital on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. She was born to Vearl and Opal Rowe on January 17, 1930 in Manes, Missouri and later attended Mansfield High School where she graduated in May 1946. She worked as a telephone operator and a homemaker, taking care of her husband, Orville S. Bradley, and her children. She was a devoted Christian who was active in Church activities. Her interests included working as a den mother for the Cub Scouts, and was a noted seamstress.
She is preceded in death by her husband Orville S. Bradley; parents, Vearl and Opal Rowe; twin brother, Olis; sister, Jean Radford; and daughter-in-law, Carole Bradley.
She is survived by her children Larry Bradley (wife Gail), Sam Bradley (wife Greta), and Kevin Bradley (wife Valinda); grandchildren, Lara Owsley (husband Tom), Sara Turner (husband Jeff), and Corbin Bradley; great-grandchildren, Cooper Owsley and Chloe Turner; niece, Debbie Radford; nephew, Mike Radford (wife Kellie); and close friend, Mary Williams.
There will be a visitation for Iris on Monday, March 20, 10:00 AM, at Greenlawn East, with the service following at 10:30 AM. The burial will follow the service at the Sparta Cemetery.
