Ivan Lee Schmitt, 87, of Springfield, MO passed away Tuesday January 27, 2015. He was born on April 3, 1927 to George and Zelma Hill Schmitt. Ivan was born, lived and worked his entire life on his farm on Highway O.
He was a Dairyman and Cattle Farmer. He is survived by his wife Betty (Potts), daughter Becky Willis and many family members and a wonderful community of life-long friends.
Ivan was a member of National Heights Baptist Church. The family would like to thank Pastor Vaughn Weatherford.
The family also wishes to thank Cox South 300 and 500 West for the wonderful care given to both Grandpa and his family during his final days.
Graveside services will be held at Robberson Prairie Cemetery on Saturday, January 31st at 10:00 a.m.
