Jack Davis Jones, was of the Christian faith. He went to his heavenly home on February 26, 2015. Jack was born in Kansas City, Kansas and lived in Tonganoxie and Basehor, Kansas until 1968 and then moved to Springfield, Missouri. Jack joined the Marines in 1972 and served 3 years. Jack worked at Zenith and was an Auctioneer. He also worked at several pawn shops. Jack also attended Drury College and earned an associates degree, studying criminal law. The last 13 years he delivered phone books around the states of Missouri, Texas and Oklahoma. Jack is preceded in death by his father, Jack D. Jones, in 1962 of Tonganoxie, Kansas, and his mother, Anna L. Jones, in 2007, Granby, Missouri. Jack is survived by his son Chris Jones and Nicki Jones of Springfield, Missouri, and his companion, Marie Christian of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by one brother; Jimmy L. Jones, of Granby, Missouri, two brother’s-in-law; Rob Mentzer of Granby, Missouri and Carl F. Duvall of Cleveland, Ohio, three sister’s; Karen Gilbert of Granby, Missouri, Becky D. Jones of Springfield, Missouri, Mary G. Duvall of Cleveland, Ohio. Jack is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends. Visitation will be Thursday, March 5, 2015, 6:00-8:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will be Friday, March 6, 2015, 11:30am, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow at Missouri Veterans Cemetery on Southwood Road at 1:00pm.
