Jacqueta Ann Plemmons was born April 25, 1954 in Coffeyville, Kansas to Edward Eugene Goin and Mary Lou (Slavens) Goin. Jackie was born the third of thirteen children, six girls and seven boys; Edward Eugene, Jr., Linda Deane Henry, Johnny Lee Goin, Darrell Wayne Goin, Vicky Sue Quinn, Denise Kay Kelly, Steve Allen Goin, Cavin Lane Goin, Aaron Gale Goin, Lisa Renee McDowell, Kari Michelle Haywood, and Gregory Scott Goin.
Jackie was married to James Allen Plemmons on May 24th 1975, they were blessed with two daughters, Shayla Rechelle Cook and Amy Lynn Plemmons and one son, James Allen Plemmons, Jr. and twelve grandchildren; Mckenzie, Jacob, Alex, Brenna, Molly, Gabriel, Maya, Samantha, Tabitha, William, Sandra, and Noah.
Jackie was a Letter Carrier for the post office first in Eureka, Kansas then in Mt. Vernon, Missouri and Springfield, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lou, father Edward Eugene, brother Edward (Gene), granddaughter Mckenzie and special BFF Janice McConnell.
She was saved and baptized in 1982 in Severy, Kansas where she was a member of the Severy Baptist Church. Jackie had many interests. She loved the outdoors including fishing, hunting, and working around her home in the country. She loved genealogy and learning about past relatives.
Jackie fiercely loved her husband, kids, siblings and grandkids. She loved giving gifts to her grandkids and seeing the joy in their eyes. She was always the caregiver to all and our rock. Jackie bravely battled cancer over the last year with a strength in spirit that is inspiring. She died peacefully in her home on September 14th, 2021 surrounded by her family.
