James (Jim) Clark, age 90, of Springfield, MO passed away peacefully at his home on March 6, 2016. He was born on January 17, 1926 to Paul and Myrtle (Garrett) Clark of Salem, MO. Jim was married to Emogene Beasley on March 30, 1963 who survives at the home. Jim was a longtime employee of Tri-State Motor Transit in Joplin, MO. He was a Safety Officer for 18 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant son Clifford; one grandson Matthew Frank. Survivors include: his wife Emogene; daughters Terre (Lyman) Frank, Eldon, MO, and Lisa Taylor, Jefferson City, MO; one son Gary (Sharon) Clark, Carthage, MO. Five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A visitation will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home North on Friday March 11, 2016 from noon to 1:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
