In the midst of our sadness, it is with much gratitude that we honor the life of James Gene Bradley. James Gene Bradley was born to Jack and Velma Bradley on August 11, 1946, in Great Bend, Kansas. James married Rox Ann Marie Katz on October 2, 1965, and they had two children, Cynthia Renee Black and James “Scott” Bradley. During his 73 years on this earth, James Bradley was a hard worker, a smart and successful business man, an avid hunter and a conservative Republican. Most of all, he was a pillar of strength and love for his family. He made many sacrifices in his life so his children and grand-children would have an easier life than he did.
James Gene Bradley is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Velma Bradley, and his brothers, Rex and Roy Bradley. He is survived by Rox Ann Bradley, Cynthia Black, married to John Black, and Scott Bradley. He is survived by his grandchildren, Alicia, married to Chris, Forbes; Hannah, married to Shane, Stout; Amanda, married to Ryan, Murphy; and Ashlynn Bradley. James Gene Bradley has always considered his in-laws, the Katz family, his own family. He is preceded in death by Harold Katz and J.D. Froetschner but is survived by the rest of the family. He is further survived by his great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, at the Thornfield, MO. cemetery.
