JAMES (JIM) LEWIS ATKINSON
Having been married for 35 years to the most wonderful husband a woman could have, it grieves me to say that Jim passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, in our home in Springfield, MO.
Jim was born on October 3, 1942, the son of Lewis and Ruthe Atkinson who preceded him in death along with his brother Bill Atkinson.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Carolin, his son Andrew and wife Elizabeth and their two daughters, Avery and Lexie, his daughter Angela Atkinson and her son Matthew, his brother Steve and wife Susie Atkinson, his sister-in-law Judy Atkinson, and numerous other family members and friends.
Services will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home East on Monday, December 3, 2018 with Pastor Charlie Arsenault officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 p.m. where you can hear the rest of the story.
