James M. Allen, age 62, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on July 25, 2020. He was born on October 25, 1957, in Kelso, Washington, to Bart and Florence Allen.
He was united in marriage on July 9, 1977, to Deborah K. Young. He loved his grandkids and working on cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bart and Florence Allen; nephew, Billy Allen; grandson, Jaxson Micah Allen; and niece, Melissa Marshal. He is survived by his wife, Deborah K. Allen; children, James D. Allen, Michael J. Allen (wife Debbie), and Heather Persinger; grandchildren, Riley A. Allen and Willow I. Allen; brothers, Bart, J.C., Arnold, and David; sisters, Mildred and Sue; and a host of family and friends.
The visitation will be held on August 4, 6:00-8:00 at Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 North National Avenue, Springfield, MO 65803.
