Janalee Mae Estes, 91, of Springfield, MO passed away on December 11, 2020 at Birchpoint. She was born on February 25, 1929 in Arcola, MO.
Janalee worked for Stanley Home Products as a dealer for over 50 years, owned and operated Estes Real Estate Company and did miscellaneous other jobs for several years. She was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She got numerous honors and awards in the Stanley business. She held season tickets for the Bears and Lady Bears.
Janalee was preceded in death by her husband, Hobart; daughter, Sherry; paternal parents, Troy and Elizabeth Sell; three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two brothers, Jerry and Linda Sell and Harold and Loretta Sell; many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Joyce Booth and Paula Shelden, for over 50 years; and many other relatives and friends too many to list all the names.
A Viewing will be held for Janalee on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 2:00-8:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home North, 3506 N. National Ave., with a Graveside Service on Thursday, December 17, at 1:00 pm in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Because of Covid-19, all people will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
