Jasper E. Reynolds was born on October 3, 1928 in Dickens, Missouri and joined his Savior in glory on November 28, 2023, after 95 years of glorious living.
Jasper was a lifelong resident of Taney County. Jasper graduated from Forsyth High School in 1947. He was proud to have served in the army during The Korean War. He was united in marriage to Zetta Magness on February 8, 1953 in Taneyville, Missouri and to this union was born two sons. He was a mail carrier for 49 years before his retirement. Jasper was recently awarded with being a member of the Masonic Lodge for 50 years. Jasper loved to work and was anxious to be able to get back to work even during his final days.
Jasper, was preceded in death by his parents, Tullie and Bethalena (Beall) Reynolds; brother, Marion Reynolds; sisters, Wanda Rueter, Rose Reynolds, and Eleanor Fagan; and his beloved son, Douglas Reynolds. He is survived by the love of his life and wife of 70 years Zetta Reynolds; son and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Beth Reynolds; brothers, Micheal Reynolds, Richard and wife Judy Reynolds, Jamie and wife Sherry Reynolds, Larry and wife Shirley Reynolds; sisters, Patricia and husband John Crouch and Bethalena and husband Ray Paschke; two grandchildren, Kelsie Combs and Katie and husband Jason Burkhart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services for Jasper Reynolds of Powersite will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson with Pastor David Koenig officiating. Visitation will be held at 11:00AM until service time at noon. Burial will follow services at Edwards Cemetery near Powersite, Missouri.
