Jeanne Louise Givens, age 66, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on November 7, 2020, at Cox Medical Center South.  She was born on March 26, 1954, in Springfield, Missouri, to Boyd Gilmore and Wanda McEntire Gilmore.  Jeanne graduated from Central High School and enjoyed being a homemaker and rearing her family.  She was a “Mom” and an “Aunt” to many people through the years and tried to help people as much as possible.

Jeanne is survived by her two daughters, Katina Dickinson (and husband Clinton) and Shannon Tureaud (and husband John); son Bill Faler (and wife Shana).  Her grandchildren include Kendra Dickinson, Colby Dickinson, Wesley Tureaud, Riley Tureaud, Kiara Trueaud, Courtney Jones and Heather Regions.  Jeanne’s great-grandchildren are Zayleen Cunningham, Taliah Morris, Imani Tureaud, River and Wilder.  Jeanne’s surviving siblings are Betty Tummons, Jack Gilmore, Jerry Gilmore (and wife Claudia), and Glenn  Gilmore (and wife Micah).  She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and lots of friends. Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents.

As a final gesture of helping someone else, Jeanne donated her corneas to the Saving Sight organization.   Visitation for Jeanne Louise Givens will be Friday, November 13, 2020, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
