Jeffrey Todd Brewster came into this world on November 21, 1961 to Larry and Pat Brewster in Denver, CO. He departed from this life February 13, 2021 at the Copper Rock Health facility in Rogersville, MO at the age of 59 after fighting cancer of the brain, lung and spinal cord for a year. Jeff graduated from Littleton HS in Littleton, CO in 1979. He was a gymnast for 3 years. Jeff enjoyed all outdoor sports, snow skiing, water skiing, mountain and road biking, fishing and hunting. Jeff moved from Denver, CO to Wichita, KS in 1992 and from Wichita, KS to Manhattan, KS in 1993. Jeff worked at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS at their Power Plant until he retired on disability program. We brought Jeff to our home in Springfield, MO from University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, KS on March 1, 2020. Jeff stayed with us during his cancer treatment until October 16, 2020 when he went into the Copper Rock nursing home. Jeff was a member of the Fordland Church of Christ.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents Paul and EvaLena Brewster and Waren and Irene Rickey, and his mother Pat Brewster.
Jeff is survived by his father Larry Brewster and stepmother Barbara Brewster of Springfield, MO; sister and brother-in-law John and Teri Haney of Conifer, CO; niece and her husband and children Steve and Mindy Wilber and Andrew and Charoline of Parker, CO; nephew and wife and children Paul and Sherry Haney and Kylie, Macie and Jackson of Evergreen, CO; and nephew Tim Haney of Evergreen, CO; step sister and family Janie and mark Woodson and son, Charlie of Bixby, OK, daughter and husband Sydney and Bradly Boyer of Tulsa, OK; step sister and family, Lori and Bob Snodgress and son, Ben of Littleton, CO, daughter and family, Ally and James Williams and sons, Noah and Joel of Kalispell, MT; step sister and family Angela and Ted Ford and Clara of Cherokee Village, AR and sons Seth and Brett of Kansas City, KS; uncle and wife Ron and Debby Brewster of Tulsa, OK and many cousins and friends.
