Jerry Lee Suntken Sr. age 60, of Republic Missouri, born in the year 1961, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022.
Jerry was a one of a kind man. He had a love for giving and not wanting in return, he helped anyone he could throughout his life. Jerry was a very hard worker, he worked non stop and started a roofing company that grew like a wild fire pretty quickly. He gave people a chance to work when others would turn them away. His employees weren’t just employees they were family and showed up cheering on the kids right along beside Jerry. Jerry’s love for his kids was endless, and he was proud as he supported them in all their sports and activities. Jerry had a smile that was welcoming, contagious, and could bring Joy to your soul. You could be having a bad day and as soon as you seen him he would smile and you felt better instantly. His hugs, oh his hugs, they felt like home, safe, loving and sheltered.
Jerry was an incredible father, he made sure Jerry Jr., Nick, Brock and Leteshia could experience all the wonderful things in life when they were little, vacations, camping trips, fishing trips, boating and tubing trips, mighty mites football, baseball, skating, the races, and the biggest igloo built by kids, his kids. He and his roofing crew drove and hauled truckloads of snow back to their home so the kids could build a mega igloo, and they certainly did. It landed a picture in the Newsleader. Jerry was a very proud father.
Jerry loved giving gifts, Christmas and Birthdays for his family was endless, he wanted his family to have all that he could give. Jerry enjoyed family and having family get togethers, he poured his heart and soul into any event he planned. Jerry had the best Super Bowl parties and made the best Chili you have ever tasted. Jerry threw the best 4th of July BBQ’S, he was invincible with his grilling skills, and he always had more fireworks than the fireworks stands, an unlimited amount of bottle rockets so the kids could have bottle rocket fights, his fireworks display would light the night sky for hours and when you would look at him he would be smiling watching everyone’s reaction as they enjoyed the sky show.
His happiness was making others happy and bringing Joy to all he knew. Jerry was a wonderful grandfather, he was proud of his grand babies and loved them all fiercely. Jerry is now United with his son Brock in heaven.
